Hi, I’m Donna.
My path into website design began in the early 2000s while I was working for a small church. The church needed a website but could not afford to hire someone to build it, so I taught myself to code and created one for them.
Soon afterward, a parish member asked whether I could build a website for the apartment complex where they lived. That first referral led to years of helping friends, family members, small businesses, and side hustles establish themselves online through websites and Facebook pages.
In 2021, Nick became a client. What began as website support for Veterans Siding & Exteriors of Kansas gradually expanded into website management, service pages, blog content, social media strategy, branded graphics, posts, and reels.
In April 2026, I took over consistent social media management for Veterans Siding & Exteriors, creating strategic posts, branded graphics, reels, blogs and website content. That month, website sessions increased from 17 in March to 77 in April—4.5 times the number recorded the previous month. By May, I could see continued momentum across the website, Facebook, and Instagram, and I discovered how much I genuinely enjoyed turning real business stories into content people wanted to watch.
That experience brought together everything I had learned over more than two decades: website design, writing, visual communication, strategy, and the importance of helping small businesses look as professional online as they are in person.
In July 2026, I officially launched Sunset Media Studio and opened the door to a small number of additional clients.
Today, I help small business owners create a polished, consistent online presence through websites, social media, content, and practical marketing support.
